PoolStyle 17″ Black Knight Leaf Rake with Fine Mesh Bag, PSBKFINE

The PoolStyle PSBKFINE is the 17 inch Black Knight leaf rake fitted with a fine mesh bag.

Fine mesh versus standard

A standard net bag is made for leaves. A fine mesh bag has a tighter weave, so the debris that would otherwise slip through the net and settle back on the floor stays in the bag instead. That makes it the better choice on a pool that collects small, light debris rather than only leaves. PoolStyle sells the same 17 inch Black Knight rake with a standard bag if leaves are all you deal with.

Using it

The rake is a head only and mounts on a telescopic pool pole, bought separately. One thing to expect: fine mesh drains more slowly than a coarse net, so a loaded bag feels heavier coming out of the water. Lift steadily rather than snapping it up, and the bag lasts longer.
