Hayward Lower Mounting Screw, SPX0555Z2

The Hayward SPX0555Z2 is the lower mounting screw for Hayward underwater pool lights. It is carried with the Astrolite SP0580 and SP0590 series and the Duralite SP0540 through SP0570 fixtures.

Why a screw matters

This is the fastener that holds the light fixture in its niche. It spends its life underwater in treated pool water, which is exactly the environment that seizes and corrodes fasteners. Most of the time it is discovered when a light is being pulled for a bulb or a lens gasket, and the screw shears off or will not go back in.
