Doughboy Deep Design Wall Skimmer and Return, Beige, 5-2091-013

This is the Doughboy Deep Design wall skimmer in beige, part 5-2091-013. It mounts through the pool wall, and the source lists it as the skimmer with the return.

What the skimmer does

The skimmer is the pump inlet at the water line. It pulls the surface film, leaves and insects off the top of the water before they sink, and it is the first thing to check when a pump keeps losing prime. On an above ground pool the whole assembly is a wall fitting rather than a built in throat, so replacing it is a matter of the right part number and a sound gasket.

Before you order

Skimmer cutouts are not interchangeable between designs, so match the part number to what is on the pool now. If you specifically need the return as well as the skimmer, confirm the contents of the part number first, because the naming for this item is not consistent between listings.
