Waterway Square Lid, Renegade Vinyl Liner, 519-9500

Waterway 519-9500 is the square lid for the Renegade vinyl liner skimmer. It is the factory part, molded for that opening.

Square and round are not interchangeable

Waterway builds skimmer lids in both shapes, and the wrong one will not sit in the frame. Check the opening in your deck before ordering rather than working from a photograph.

Why they fail

A skimmer lid lives in full sun and gets walked on. Ultraviolet exposure turns the plastic chalky and brittle over a few seasons, and then somebody steps on it. Replacing a cracked or missing lid matters beyond appearance: an open skimmer throat set into a deck is exactly where a bare foot goes.
