Waterway Clearwater Standard Coupling, 419-7241

The Waterway 419-7241 is the standard coupling listed with the Clearwater II cartridge filter. It is the genuine Waterway part.

What it does

The coupling is part of the connection between the filter and the pipework around it. It sits under system pressure every time the pump runs, so when it cracks it shows up as a wet spot at the equipment pad that gets worse rather than better.

Before you order

Waterway makes more than one coupling for its filter range, and this listing is the standard version. Read the number from your own filter parts list to be sure it matches, and check the seals in the same joint while the plumbing is apart.
