Val-Pak Impeller 1 HP V38-124

The Val-Pak V38-124 is the 1 horsepower impeller for Pentair American Products Ultra Flo pool pumps. It is molded plastic, matched to the original.

Match the horsepower

Impellers are sized to the motor behind them. This is the 1 HP part, so it belongs on a 1 horsepower Ultra Flo and not on any other rating in the family. Getting that wrong loads the motor incorrectly and gives you the wrong flow.

Two part numbers

Our source carries two cross references for this impeller. It is described as replacing 39005110, and it is also listed under 39005100. Both are recorded here rather than picking one, so compare against the number stamped on the old impeller or the number in your own parts list before you order.

While the pump is apart

Weak returns, poor skimming and a pump that struggles to prime are the usual signs of an impeller that is worn or packed with debris. Since the pump has to come apart to reach it, replace the shaft seal in the same session; it sits directly behind the impeller.
