Val-Pak Brass Clamp Sleeve Nut, V60-110

Val-Pak V60-110 is the brass clamp sleeve nut that replaces Hayward DEX2400JN. It is the nut on the band clamp that holds the two halves of the filter tank together, threaded 5/16 in 24.

Brass is the right material here for a reason. The clamp hardware sits in the wettest, most chemically loaded spot on the pad and gets worked every time the filter is opened, so a plated fastener corrodes and then rounds off under a wrench.

Coverage spans two Hayward families. On the DE side it is used on the Micro-Clear DE2400, DE3600, DE4800 and DE6000. On the cartridge side it covers the Super Star Clear C-2000, C-3000, C-4000, C-4500, C-5000 and C-5500.

If a filter clean has already turned into a fight with a seized nut, replace the hardware while the tank is apart rather than fighting the same nut again next season.
