S.R. Smith Commercial Swim N’ Dunk Backboard Frame, 20-197-VB

This is the S.R. Smith 20-197-VB backboard frame, the square frame that carries the acrylic backboard on the commercial Swim N’ Dunk poolside basketball game.

What the frame does

The frame is the structural piece between the post and the backboard. It takes the load every time a player pulls on the rim, which is why on a commercial installation it is the part that gets bent or fatigued long before the acrylic panel or the anchor does.

Frame only

The acrylic backboard panel and the goal assembly are separate items and are not included. A facility replacing a damaged frame can usually reuse the existing anchor, post and panel, so check what is actually damaged before ordering more than you need. Confirm the part number on the frame coming off, since more than one backboard configuration has been sold under the Swim N’ Dunk name.
