S.R. Smith 1/2″x2″ Round Rubber Washer, 05-619

The S.R. Smith 05-619 is a round rubber washer measuring 1/2 inch by 2 inch. It is a genuine S.R. Smith service part.

What a rubber washer does

It spreads the clamping load of a bolt over a wider area and puts something compressible between two hard surfaces. On pool deck hardware that means the fastener does not chew into the deck, the metal parts do not sit directly against each other, and there is a little give in a joint that gets flexed every time somebody uses it.

Ordering the right one

S.R. Smith list washers in several sizes and materials. This one is the round rubber washer at 1/2 inch by 2 inch, so measure the part you are taking out and compare before you order. If the old washer has gone hard, split or been squashed permanently flat, it has stopped cushioning anything and is due for replacement whatever else you are doing to the assembly.
