Polaris Genuine OEM Top, Black (280 BlackMax)

The Polaris K6 is the genuine replacement top housing for the Polaris 280 BlackMax pressure side pool cleaner, supplied in black to match the BlackMax body.

Why the top gets replaced

The top housing carries the mounting points for the parts above the wheels and takes years of sun, chlorine and knocks against the pool wall. Over time it goes brittle and cracks, usually starting at a screw boss. Once it does, the internals no longer sit square and the cleaner starts to wander or stall.

What you are buying

This is the top half only, in black. The bottom with bracket is a separate Polaris part, so look at which half of the shell is actually damaged before ordering. There is also a blue top cover for 280 cleaners that are not the BlackMax finish.
