Polaris Genuine OEM Screw for C-25 to Axle

The Polaris C30 is the screw that attaches the C-25 spring to the axle on the Polaris 280 pressure side pool cleaner. It is a genuine Polaris part, in metal, and it appears in the parts listing shared by the 280 and the TR28P.

Why a screw gets its own part number

The spring it holds is under load every time the cleaner moves, and it sits in chlorinated water all season. The screw is sized and headed for that specific joint. A near miss from a hardware drawer will usually thread in and then work loose over a few weeks, and the spring goes with it.

While you are in there

If this screw had already backed out or sheared, check the C-25 spring and the axle before you reassemble. A fastener that failed once often means the parts it clamps have worn or elongated, and putting a new screw into a worn joint just repeats the failure.
