Pleatco Advanced Ultra Xtreme Blue A1 C4025/C4030 Filter Cartridge, X15-ULT-A1-M

The Pleatco X15-ULT-A1-M is a single Advanced Ultra Xtreme Blue A1 filter cartridge for the Hayward C4025 and C4030 cartridge filters. It is a step up from a plain replacement element, built around media and construction changes that show up in how the filter runs between cleanings.

The media

The fabric is point bonded, so it holds more dirt and fine debris on each pass through the filter. It is treated with an antimicrobial protection to help prevent bacteria and other microorganisms taking hold in the folds, which is where a neglected cartridge usually starts to smell and lose flow.

Pleat spacing and flow

Pleatco calls its pleat spacing PurePleat. The point is simple: pleats that stay evenly spaced do not bunch, so debris collects on the surface rather than packing into the bottom of each fold. That makes hosing the cartridge faster and more thorough. Inside, a Free Flow Core supports the media and keeps water moving, which holds operating pressure down.

Build

The cartridge uses a triple action bandless design, so there are no external bands to split or slip. Check how many cartridges your filter housing takes before ordering, since this listing is a single cartridge.
