Pleatco 65 Sq Ft Filter Cartridge, PWK65

The Pleatco PWK65 is a 65 square foot filter cartridge for Watkins Hot Spring Spas, measuring 8-1/2 inches across by 10-1/2 inches long.

The upgrade from the PWK45N

This cartridge is listed as the higher area replacement for spas running a PWK45N. More pleated surface in the same housing means the cartridge holds more dirt before flow starts falling off, so cleanings come around less often and the pump works against less restriction in between.

Care

Rinse the pleats on a routine schedule and soak the cartridge when a rinse no longer brings the flow back. Every cartridge is eventually finished, and the sign is simple: it comes out of the soak looking clean and the flow still does not recover.
