Pleatco 10 Sq Ft Skim Filter Cartridge, PWW10

The Pleatco PWW10 is a 10 square foot replacement cartridge for the Waterway Skim Filter 10. It measures 4-1/4 in. outside diameter by 4 in. long.

Checking the fit

Skim filter elements in this size range are close enough to each other that guessing by eye does not work. Pull the old cartridge and measure it: 4-1/4 in. across and 4 in. tall is this part. The Pleatco number PWW10 is the other way to cross reference it against whatever came out.

Getting the life out of it

Ten square feet is a small element, and it loads with debris quickly. Rinsing it on a short, regular cycle is what keeps flow up. Replace it once a rinse no longer brings flow back, or once the pleats have gone hard, torn, or started separating from the end caps.
