King Technology Control Dial with O-ring for New Water 400, 430, 01-22-9446

Part 01-22-9446 is the King Technology control dial with its O-ring, for the New Water 400 and 430 systems. It is also listed for the discontinued New Water 600 and 630.

What it does

The control dial is the adjustment on the front of the unit, the setting that decides how much water passes through the cartridge and therefore how the system treats the pool. It takes every adjustment the owner makes over a season, and it seals against the body through the O-ring behind it. When the dial cracks, will not hold its setting, or weeps around the shaft, the whole system stops doing what its setting says it is doing.

Supersession

This part number replaces the earlier 01-22-9440. The old number was listed as the dial with an O-ring and a snap ring, while the current part is listed as the dial with the O-ring, so hold onto the snap ring from your existing assembly if there is one.
