Jacuzzi Drain Cap with Gasket, 4626-16

The Jacuzzi 4626-16 is a drain cap supplied with its gasket, a new original equipment part. The same cap is also listed by Jacuzzi under part number 85826300R.

Where it is used

It is listed for the Jacuzzi Laser bolt-on top mount sand filters in models 160L, 190L, 225L and 250L, and for the CFR 50, 75, 100 and 150 cartridge filters. The drain cap sits at the bottom of the tank and is opened every time the filter is drained down for service or for winter.

Why it is sold with the gasket

Repeated opening and closing is hard on the sealing face. A cap that weeps once the filter is back under pressure is usually failing at the gasket rather than at the threads, so replacing the two together is the fix that lasts. Brand records for this part also appear as Jacuzzi Bros, the older company name.
