Hayward Square Skimmer Deck Lid Cover, SPX1082E

The Hayward SPX1082E is the square deck lid cover for SP1080 series Skim-master pool skimmers. It is the genuine Hayward part, supplied in white.

Size first

The lid measures 10 in. by 10 in. Skimmer lids come in several shapes and sizes and they are not interchangeable, so measure the existing opening before ordering rather than going by the skimmer body alone.

Why it is worth replacing

A skimmer lid takes sun, foot traffic and pool chemicals year after year, and eventually it goes brittle and cracks. A broken lid is a trip hazard on a wet deck and it lets leaves, toys and grit drop straight into the skimmer throat. Swapping it is a two second job with no tools.
