Hayward Shoulder Screw for Perflex EC50C90 DE Filters, ECX4236

The Hayward ECX4236 is a metal shoulder screw made for the Hayward Perflex EC50C90 series Extended-Cycle DE filter.

What it does

A shoulder screw has a smooth, unthreaded section below the head, sized larger than the threads that follow it. That unthreaded shoulder lets a moving part turn or pivot freely around the screw, rather than binding against threads the way a standard machine screw would, which is why this style is used at pivot and latch points on filter head hardware.

Fit and compatibility

The ECX4236 is sized for the Hayward Perflex EC50C90 series Extended-Cycle DE filter. If your filter is a different Perflex model, confirm the part number against your equipment before ordering.

Before you order

The ECX4236 is made of metal, sold individually, carries UPC 610377025232, and ships as a standard parcel item. Confirm your filter model against the fit list above before ordering, since shoulder screws vary in length and thread between Perflex models.
