Fiberstars Toggle Switch, 3 Position, A11526

The Fiberstars A11526 is the three position toggle switch used on the Fiberstars fiber optic illuminator, listed against the 6004, 6008 and 6004-AS units.

Why the switch fails

A toggle switch is a mechanical part in an electrical circuit. It gets thrown thousands of times, the contacts pit, and eventually it either stops making a connection or only works in one position. From outside the cabinet a dead switch is indistinguishable from a dead lamp or a failed transformer, so it is worth testing early.

Direct replacement

This is the genuine Fiberstars part and goes back in place of the original.
