Fiber Clear Filter Media, 3 lb Bag, FCR-048B

Fiber Clear FCR-048B is a filter media supplied in a 3 lb bag. It goes into the filter in place of diatomaceous earth and filters out particles as small as 2 microns.

Why owners switch from DE

Fiber Clear is biodegradable and non-toxic to people and fish. It can be backwashed safely and will not clog drains and sewers, which is the part of DE handling that causes the most trouble. Users report the water is left softer and sparkling.

Fitting it to your filter

No modification to the filter is needed. It is used in all swimming pool filters and many spa filters, so an existing DE tank takes it as it stands. If you only need a small quantity, Fiber Clear also packages this media in a 9 oz bag.
