Coverstar 140′ PowerFlex Rope with Semi-Rigid Tab, C5140

This is the Coverstar PowerFlex detachable rope in a 140 foot length, supplied with a semi-rigid tab and the 518 silver tracer. It is listed under part number C5140 and also appears as C3240.

What it is

An automatic pool cover is drawn back and forth by rope running through the track, and that rope is a wear part. It takes constant tension, abrasion in the track and the full weight of a wet cover, so it stretches and frays long before the rest of the system needs attention.

Matching your system

Length and tracer both matter. This one is 140 feet with the 518 silver tracer, and it comes with the semi-rigid tab fitted rather than as plain rope. If you are replacing one side of a pair, measure what came off and check the tracer on the old rope before ordering.
