Coverstar 10″ Stainless Steel Adjustable Walk-On Lid Bracket, Arm Only, A0510

The Coverstar A0510 is the 10 inch adjustable walk-on lid bracket for an automatic pool cover vault. The base and support arm are stainless steel, which is the only sensible material for a part that sits in a wet, chemically loaded box in the deck.

What it carries

Coverstar list the bracket for a range of lid materials, including aluminum, stone and concrete. The holes through the bracket are placed to add rigidity as well as to give more than one way to mount it, and the same holes let an installer attach a bonding lug. The bonding lug is not supplied with the bracket.

Sizing the lid

Coverstar recommend the lid does not extend more than 2 inches past the end of the support arm. Past that, the unsupported overhang is what flexes and cracks under foot traffic.
