The Blue Square VLB3501-MC is the Vivid 360 multicolor LED pool bulb, rated 35 watts at 120 volts. It replaces the lamp inside an existing pool or spa light fixture.

Color without a new fixture

The usual way to get color light in a pool is to pull the old fixture and put in a new one, which means a niche, a cord run and often a conduit. The Vivid 360 is built the other way around: it is a lamp made to drop into most existing pool and spa lights, so the fixture and the wiring already in the wall stay where they are. Blue Square also offers quick connect plug kits to keep the swap quick for a service tech.

Before you order

Confirm the fixture is a 120 volt light. Low voltage 12 volt systems take a different lamp entirely, and voltage is the one thing that has to match. Beyond that, this suits either job: a bulb that has burned out, or a working white light you want to turn into a color one.
