6-Way Swimming Pool Water Test Strips, 10 Count, PZ-3028

These are six way test strips for swimming pool, spa and hot tub water, packed 10 strips to a bottle. One dip gives you the readings that decide what goes in the water next.

What each strip reads

Free chlorine, total chlorine and combined chlorine, plus total alkalinity, pH levels, total hardness, cyanuric acid and bromine. Seeing free and total chlorine side by side is what tells you whether combined chlorine, the chloramine that makes a pool smell, is building up.

How to use them

Dip a strip in the water, hold it level so the pads do not run together, then compare the colors against the chart printed on the bottle. Because the strip covers bromine as well as chlorine, the same bottle works for a chlorine pool, a bromine spa or a hot tub.
