Hayward Filter Cartridge for SwimClear C3030 Pool Filter, CX580XRE

This is the Hayward CX580XRE cartridge element, the genuine replacement cartridge for the SwimClear C3000, C3020, C3025 and C3030 cartridge filters. It measures 7 in. in diameter and 19-7/16 in. long.

Four to a filter

The SwimClear takes four cartridges, not one. This listing is a single element, so order four if you are replacing the whole set. Changing all four together is the sensible approach, since a filter running three tired cartridges and one new one loads the new one unevenly.

When to replace

Cartridges are cleaned until they stop coming clean. When pressure climbs back up soon after a wash, when the pleats stay grey, or when the fabric has gone thin or split, the element is finished and a new set restores the filter to full flow.
