J&J Electronics PureWhite LPL-PR2-WW-12 Warm White Pool Lamp, 12V

This is the J&J Electronics PureWhite warm white pool lamp, part number LPL-PR2-WW-12, catalog number 26613. It is the 12V version of the lamp.

Get the voltage right

PureWhite warm white is built in two versions that share almost the same part number. This one, ending in 12, is for a 12V circuit fed by a transformer. The one ending in 120, LPL-PR2-WW-120, is for a 120V circuit. They are not interchangeable, and putting a 12V lamp on line voltage destroys it as soon as the switch is thrown. Check the fixture and the supply before you order.

About the wattage figure

The 300/400W rating quoted for this lamp is an equivalence to the incandescent lamp it replaces. It is there so you can match the brightness of the old lamp, and it is not a statement of how much power this lamp draws.
